Marketing and Communications Student Photographer

About the role

The Marketing and Communications Student Photographer will assist the MarComm department in capturing refreshed photography for recruitment and enrollment materials. The student photographer will help to plan, set up, capture, and edit photography on-site at events both on and off campus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing photography sessions for various recruitment and enrollment materials.
• Capture high-quality images for the university’s website, social media, flyers, brochures, advertisements, and other marketing materials.
• Edit photos using industry-standard software such as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
• Maintain a consistent visual identity across all marketing materials.
• Work closely with the AVP of Strategic Marketing and Communications and the Director of Creative Services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in progress in photography, fine arts, videography, communications, journalism or related field, with expertise in still photography, commercial photography, photojournalism, studio photography, videography and/or digital editing a plus.
• Experience with digital asset management systems and techniques; working knowledge of formatting images and videos for the web and social media.
• Strong proficiency in the use of industry standard image and editing software, including Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
