Job Summary

Shift Managers lead shifts in independently owned and operated McDonald’s restaurants, ensuring great Quality, Service, and Cleanliness for customers. Opportunities for growth and advancement exist within the franchisee organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts, ensuring fast, accurate, and friendly service
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift
• Maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards
• Monitor performance and take corrective actions as needed
• Ensure safety, security, and profitability
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for the next shift
• Meet and exceed targets set for the shift
• Help assigned Departments meet their goals
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
• Train new and existing employees

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility with a willingness to adapt to the fast-paced nature of McDonald’s
• Must be 18 years or older to apply
