About the role

Join our team as a Production Technician at Bimbo Bakeries USA. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production processes and maintaining equipment in optimal condition.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment to prevent downtime and ensure quality output.
• Follow safety protocols to minimize risk of injury and comply with all health and safety regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using common tools and equipment found in a production setting.
• Good communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Skills

• Knowledge of food processing and handling procedures.
• Understanding of quality control standards and practices.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Pay

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
