About the role

Market Risk for Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC) is responsible for monitoring daily margin calculations and managing market and liquidity risk exposures arising from trade execution and settlement activities. Team members understand margining methodologies, maintain a keen understanding of financial markets and client profiles, and collaborate with other DTCC teams to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks to safeguard the financial market.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day functions such as researching significant increases in margin requirements, supervising trading patterns of member firms, and liquidity usage.
• Develop a strong understanding of clients’ business and risk profiles to serve as a point of contact for risk-related support and inquiries.
• Mitigate risk by following established procedures, identifying and advancing emerging risks, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Counterparty Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, Operations, Quantitative Risk, and Relationship Management to bolster risk management practices.
• Educate clients on risk management tools and initiatives.
• Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Schedule

DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a third day unique to each team or employee).

Pay

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
