Market Research Analyst
About the role
The Market Research Analyst will support ASME's Voice of the Customer (VoC) and growing Voice of Employee (VoE) programs. Key responsibilities include managing surveys and polls, leading report writing, contributing to research design, delivering actionable insights, and supporting VoC and VoE program improvements.
Responsibilities
- Manage programming and deployment of surveys and polls
- Lead development of cross-tabs
- Aid in writing/editing reports and presentations of findings for stakeholders
- Contribute to all phases of research design
- Support delivery of actionable insights that drive revenue, net margin, customer/constituent acquisition, retention, engagement, and strong customer experience and satisfaction
- Collaborate on initiatives aimed at continuous VoC program improvements, including implementation of new feedback collection tools and advanced analytics
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and refinement of the VoE program
- Affirm ASME-wide VoC-based KPIs and Dashboards
- Maintain and manage central repository of Market Intelligence research reports
- Support development and implementation of the new ASME customer panel
- Stay current on market research methodologies, data gathering techniques, and market trends across relevant industries
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in market research within a corporate or vendor environment
- Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies/practices and statistics
- Advanced Excel skills and deep proficiency with PowerPoint
- Extensive experience programming and deploying surveys with Qualtrics or similar survey utility

- Technical – Advanced Excel skills and deep proficiency with Power Point. Strong knowledge and use of statistical methodologies and tools.

Pay
Annual base salary may vary based on geographic location. The New York metro salary range for this position is estimated to be between $95,000 – $105,000 per year.
Schedule
This role is eligible for a remote work arrangement.
