Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by greeting customers and addressing their needs.
• Prepares various foods for the Market Grille, including hot and cold items.
• Ensures the work area is clean and adheres to sanitation procedures.
• Orders product and supplies when necessary or notifies managers of needs.
• Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent education.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience.
• Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.
• Visual requirements including vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.
• Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to solve practical problems and follow instructions.
• Must have the ability to do simple addition and subtraction, copy figures, count, and record.
• Must have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, and request supplies.

Skills

• Knowledge of all menu items and ability to take guests' orders.
• Understanding and practicing proper sanitation procedures.
• Personal understanding of all aspects of the Market Grille.

Pay

The anticipated hourly starting wage for this position is $16.00 to $20.00 depending on experience.

Schedule

This is a fast-paced work environment with frequent equipment movement hazards from slicers and choppers. The position is frequently exposed to a cool and warm environment, dampness, noise from equipment, and vibrations from some equipment.
