Responsibilities
- Responsible for the efficient management of mobile rehabilitation services in their assigned market.
- Aids in integrating rehabilitation services across various settings.
- Ensures the delivery and maintenance of the highest standard of rehabilitation services.
- Manages market relations and program growth in their assigned market.
- Provides direct patient care.
- Maintains the standard of clinical services being delivered and maintained in all locations within the market.
- Monitors and supports staff in identifying strategies to improve outcomes as needed.
- Assists therapy staff in removing barriers to treatment and providing clinical education.
- Develops and supports staff in their assigned market, including conducting rounds, coaching, and mentoring.
- Assumes responsibility for annual merit evaluations of therapy staff within their assigned market.
- Hires therapy staff (in conjunction with the Clinical Operations Area Director) within their assigned market.
- Administers financial controls of revenue and expenses.
- Supports clinical orientation and ensures a quality orientation process for new rehab staff within their market.
- Promotes the highest standard of rehab services through appropriate resource utilization, clinical program promotion, and staff development.
- Develops and maintains relationships with referral sources and staff as a representative of Powerback Rehabilitation.
- Oversees the clinical management of the rehab department, including case management, quality improvement, care planning, clinical utilization, and patient identification.
- Completes monthly reports and formally reviews them with the facility administration.
Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
- A Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or a Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; or a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.
- Three years direct patient care experience and one year of management experience.
- A thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing.
