Market Director (Branch Manager)

Priority Wire & Cable, a leading supplier of wire and cable in the U.S. and Canada, is seeking a Market Director to serve as the Las Vegas Branch Manager. This in-office role will lead the Las Vegas, NV branch and oversee sales performance, operations, and team members.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all profits and losses associated with the Branch.
  • Develops and nurtures relationships with key customer personnel.
  • Manages all aspects of inside sales and inside sales employees at the branch: Training, Pricing, Quoting Returns, Customer Service and Freight.
  • Manages all aspects of customer service associated with the branch: Service standards, Timely quotes, Timely shipments, Approving return requests, Approving special pricing.
  • Reviews daily all quotes and orders for the branch.
  • Affords assessment of all market feedback and reacts accordingly.
  • Follows and reports all market conditions (pricing, economic, new products, etc.) for the region. Determines pricing by territories within the branch. Determines special pricing by customer (if needed).
  • Works in conjunction with regional managers to monitor local agency productivity.
  • Works in conjunction with product managers to assure local inventory needs are fulfilled.
  • Works in conjunction with marketing managers to promote the company.
  • Regional travel as needed.

  • Self-Driven

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Team Oriented; Must be able to work with teams, individual contributors, and executives while having the ability to influence, understand and collaborate
  • Ability to manage and prioritize projects and initiatives
  • Ability to travel regionally - 25%

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in business or business-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or related areas
  • People management experience is a plus
  • Ability to work with basic computer software (ex. ERP, CRM, Computer Applications, etc.)
  • Experience in the wire and cable or electrical industry

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to travel by plane or automobile.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
