About the Role

As a Market Data Services Specialist, you will process incoming invoices for vendor services, generate allocations for submission to accounting, monitor expected invoicing for any missing or delayed items, and produce both ad-hoc and scheduled reports for critical business unit heads. You will also generate reporting for the MISU credit program to applicable exchanges and ensure proper credits are tracked.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming invoices for vendor services for approval and submission to Accounts Payable.
  • Prepare allocations for submission to Corporate Accounting.
  • Monitor expected invoicing reports in the MDM system to identify missing or delayed invoices from vendors.
  • Generate spend reporting for business unit management on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis.
  • Produce monthly reporting for the MISU credit program (NYSE/AMEX and OPRA) and monitor subsequent invoicing to track credits due.
  • Monitor, track, and update pricing and structural changes from vendors to maintain the MDM system.
  • Cross-train with the Market Data Procurement Analyst to enhance departmental support capabilities.
  • Perform additional Market Data Procurement duties, including orders for new or changed services and maintenance of user/vendor information in the MDM system.

Requirements

  • Solid analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to determine system functionality and assess how changes in conditions or operations affect outcomes.
  • Strong logic and reasoning to evaluate alternative solutions and approaches.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent experience and college coursework.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a related field.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with market data management systems.
