The Ray and Stephanie Lane Computational Biology Department is a global leader in computational research and education, with a mission spanning PhD, MS, BS, undergraduate minor, and pre-college programs in computational biology, as well as training programs for experimental biologists and other scientists. We place a strong emphasis on computational methods, foundational mathematics and statistics, data-driven scientific inquiry, and the application of automated and computationally-directed laboratory science.
