Mark Hestbæk

About the role

Mark Hestbæk (born 2006) is one of Denmark's largest sailing talents and part of the Danish development national team. He sails in the Olympic class ILCA 7, which he started in 2022. Already in 2025, Mark achieved his international breakthrough, where he secured a 7th place on the flotilla at U21-world championships. The same year, he won the Youth Championship and secured a 2nd place at the Championship. At present, he trains daily with Elite & Talent Center Øst in Hellerup, where he works goal-oriented with his development. With a strong progression and clear ambitions, the aim for the upcoming season is to compete for medals at the international U21-championships.
