Maritime Attorneys
Overview
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm in all 50 States, has an immediate opening for a Maritime Attorney in their Bay Area offices. This position could be a Remote (Work From Home) opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on maritime law issues
- Handle litigation cases involving asbestos or occupational diseases
- Write legal documents and briefs
- Persuasively present arguments in court
- Conduct thorough legal research
- Collaborate effectively with team members
Requirements
- Licensed in California
- At least three to six years’ experience in Maritime law
- Excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills
- Strong academic background
- Proven skills in research
- Self-starter capable of handling tasks independently
Qualifications
- LLM in Maritime Law preferred but not required
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Pay
Actual compensation is tailored to each individual and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market. The firm's current national base salary ranges are:
- Associates (approximately 1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000
- Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (approximately 5 years or more): $140,000–$215,000
- Partners (approximately 7 years or more): $190,000–$275,000+
