About the role

The role involves teaching marine biology and environmental science courses at the college level. The instructor will also assist in research projects and community outreach programs.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses in marine biology and environmental science
  • Conduct research projects and publish findings
  • Participate in community outreach programs
  • Assist with curriculum development and assessment

Requirements

  • MSc or PhD in Marine Biology, Environmental Science, or related field
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience at the college level
  • Experience with marine conservation and environmental issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Passing an FBI background check
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$50,000 annually

Schedule

Adjunct faculty are hired on a semester-by-semester basis.
