Marine Bottom Painter/Detailer - Lake Tarpon
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform bottom prep, including pressure washing, sanding, scraping, and masking.
- Apply bottom paint and coatings in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
- Inspect hulls for wear, blisters, or damage and report findings.
- Complete full boat detailing (wash, wax, compound, polish).
- Clean interiors, decks, upholstery, and compartments.
- Operate buffers, sanders, and pressure washing equipment safely.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
- Assist with general marina and fleet maintenance as needed.
- Experience with fiberglass repair or gelcoat work.
- Experience working with center consoles, pontoons, and deck boats.
- General marine maintenance knowledge.

Compensation
It will be competitive with similar positions and start at $20.00 an hour, and is negotiable based on experience. In addition to eligibility for paid time off, healthcare benefits, including dental, vision, accident options, and IRA plans, are provided.
