Marching Band: Section Leader SLHS
About the role
We are seeking instructors for drumline, visual, brass, and woodwind sections. The Section Leader will serve students during the summer Marching Band camp, preparing them for success during the fall Marching Band season.
Responsibilities
- Help manage the many facets and after-school commitments of an excellent marching band program.
- Work in small groups within the Marching Band, focusing on specific instruments (flutes, clarinets, saxophones, etc.).
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for music and marching band.
- Available for all related activities.
- Demonstrates knowledge of assigned instrument/marching fundamentals.
- Organizational and motivational skills.
- Successful experience in teaching music/marching band.
- Willingness to support the total music program.
- Classroom teacher is preferred but not required.

Pay
This is a timesheeted position. Pay is $30.00/hour, approximately 10 hours.
