Marching Band Color Guard Instructor
Responsibilities
- Teach and clean pre-designed color guard work to students
- Work with students on visual responsibilities and marching technique
- Teach and assist in full ensemble rehearsals
- Coordinate and communicate with administration, staff, and community members
- Assist the licensed staff member with assigned tasks
- Complete non-licensed instructional responsibilities
- Display personal and professional qualities promoting a safe and caring environment
- Achieve proficient or higher evaluations on established Performance Standards
Requirements
- Prior experience through performance and/or coaching is preferred
- Flexible and patient in work demands
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

- Proficient in managing simultaneous demands and setting clear priorities

Qualifications
- High school graduate - high school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred qualifications include experience through performance and/or coaching
- Knowledgeable about data privacy laws and their implications for the educational community
- Commitment to the education of students as a primary responsibility

- Student-centered and relationship-focused approach
