MARCENT Exercise Logistics Planner
Job Objective
Under a five-year contract, the MARCENT Exercise Logistics Planner will support the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands.
Responsibilities
- Provide Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) level and component level exercise planning at the expert proficiency level
- Integrate input from multiple logistics support activities and develop a comprehensive exercise logistics plan, to include guidance for deployment and redeployment of exercise participants
- Review proposed exercise logistics plans, provide logistical supportability recommendations, draft exercise planning document inputs, generate and/or modify exercise documents to develop and improve logistics programs, and ensure exercise plans meet mission requirements
- Cook up with personnel from HQMC, CENTCOM, and other military staff as required
- Review and provide input to MARCENT and CENTCOM exercise documents and draft exercise logistics Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) inject items
- Aid the MARCENT Staff and subordinate elements in achieving training objectives
- Aid the MARCENT G-4 staff in the development of training and exercise related Standard Operating Procedures, Execution Checklists, Policies, Orders and Directives via participation in planning teams, working groups and conferences as required to incorporate lessons learned and after-action items from previous similar events are identified and addressed

- Must possess a current US Passport with ability to travel and work overseas
- Must be able to meet COMSEC briefing and Local Element management certification requirements available under the OPNAVINST 2201.4, DoD Instruction 8523.01 and Air Force Manual 17-1301
- Must be able to complete an in-scope (per current DoD 6-year reinvestigation requirement), favorable, ST5 investigation (to include SBPR, PPR, T5R, or current enrollment in the DoD Continuous Evaluation (CE) / Continuous Vetting (CV) program), adjudicated for SCI eligibility by the DoD Central Adjudication Facility (DoD CAF) without conditions, exceptions, or waivers at the time of performance and must maintain the level of security required for the life of the contract
About the Role
MARCENT Exercise Logistics Planner supports the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands. The scope of the requirement includes professional services for MARCENT located aboard MacDill Air Force Base (AFB), Florida, which serves as a Component Command to U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM).
Education & Certification
- Must possess a current US Passport with ability to travel and work overseas
