Manufacturing Yard Laborer

About the role

Cuts strand and assists with the process of pouring concrete in beds for the production of concrete members. Also assists with housekeeping and other plant tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment and the production of high-quality products.
• Receive instructions, roll torches, steel and tool buggies to bed, and unload.
• Lay out rebar, plates, loops, channel, and insulation.
• Pull strand, thread bulkheads, block outs, frames, and dead man; cut strand with grinder and place chucks on ends.
• Place and tie rebar, loops, stem and flange wire, chair flange wire, and place form and side plates.
• Prepare for pours.
• Clean up around beds after members are stripped and dispose of trash, scrap wood, etc.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
