Responsibilities

• Use lift truck to move materials and completed parts to proper locations.
• Use various computer programs and perform basic data entry and periodic lookup of information.
• Conduct daily pre-operation safety checks on lift trucks.
• Place and remove loads from the floor, parts train, and rack locations.
• Update and distribute department measurements reporting.
• Comply with safety regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Per 8-10 hour shift: sit up to 8 hours, sit continuously up to 1 hour, walk up to 1 hour.
• Frequent balance, push/pull, bend, kneel, and squat.
• Frequent lifting and carrying (0-40 lbs).
• Must be able to see, hear, write, and have good binocular vision and color distinction.
• Must perform simple and firm grasping with both hands and use feet to operate foot pedals.
• Must work in a moderately noisy environment with exposure to vibrations, battery acid, and dust.
• Must safely operate lift trucks and work in areas with lift truck traffic.

Mental Requirements

• Basic math, reading, memory, reasoning, and analytical skills.
• Ability to complete paperwork and understand basic computer usage.
• Organizational skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Related work experience preferred.
• May require a valid driver’s license.
• Crown will only employ those legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available for this position.
