Duties/Responsibilities
- Operates multiple looms simultaneously to meet production goals
- Must be able to follow the SOP’s
- Manufactures various fabrics and woven products according to requirements
- Maintains quality standards by monitoring looms
- Prevents, identifies, and flags defects in fabric
- Cleans and maintains equipment and work areas
- Works safely and reports unsafe conditions to management
- Collaborates and adapts to changing work environment and business needs
Required Skills/Abilities
- Manages time and multiple priorities
- Has precise manual dexterity
- Shows excellent attention to detail and safety
- Able to work assigned shift and overtime as necessary
- Dependable and reliable
- Has good vision
Physical Requirements
- Moves, bends, and pushes
- Lifts up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Adheres to safety requirements including PPE
- Stands and walks for long periods
Working Conditions
- Manufacturing setting
- Rotates shifts monthly (7AM – 3PM, 3PM – 11PM, 11PM – 7AM)
- Moderate to high noise levels (PPE and testing provided)
- May require the use of sharp tools to cut materials
