Your Contribution

  • Captures and coordinates production activities, assisting engineering staff and supervisor in troubleshooting, new product development, writing processes, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Assists in introducing new products into manufacturing.
  • Assists in troubleshooting equipment, fixtures, tooling, and technical issues.
  • Maintains production schedules and coordinates material flow within the area.
  • Sets up and performs machine stretching operations, monitors stretch cycles, troubleshoots, and adjusts machines during cycle as needed.
  • Performs inspections of image inverters and tapers as required.
  • Troubleshoots causes of rejects and assists supervisors and engineers in implementing corrective actions.
  • Performs machine preventative maintenance according to the PM maintenance schedule.
  • Rebuilds and prepares components for machine repair.
  • Performs routine electrical and electronic maintenance.
  • Maintains production and run parameter records, product identification, and scheduling.
  • Orders and maintains adequate inventory of parts and supplies.
  • Performs all the functions of Twist/Stretch Operator A as assigned.
  • Writes and revises process specs and route sheets.
  • Builds prototype samples and R&D parts.
  • Inspects in-process work to ensure quality and verify proper procedures are being followed.
  • Aids in training less qualified employees.
  • Aids engineering personnel as required.
  • Suggests improvements in equipment and procedures.
  • Operates with minimal direct supervision.
  • Maintains housekeeping practices per departmental 5S program.
  • Accurately enters database/SAP transactions in the computer.
  • Maintains daily records, including labor sheets and routers.

Your Profile

  • Minimum eight (8) years’ experience on the job or in a manufacturing field.
  • Capable of providing technical support for the improvement and development of manufacturing products and processes.
  • Computer proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office software.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.

Pay and Schedule

Hourly Pay Range: $30.00-$34.00
Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
