We are hiring a Manufacturing Technician II to support daily manufacturing operations by operating, monitoring, and performing routine checks on production equipment in a cleanroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing equipment according to production specifications and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Perform routine equipment and process checks, identify issues, apply basic troubleshooting within established procedures, and escalate concerns as needed
- Record accurate production data and maintain logs in the appropriate systems
- Follow cleanroom protocols, safety standards, and quality requirements consistently
- Aid engineers with data collection, process monitoring, and basic qualification activities
- Seek guidance when issues fall outside standard procedures
- Provide informal support to newer technicians as needed
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional groups to support daily operations
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and cleanroom operations
- Familiarity with standard operating procedures and production workflows
- Attention to detail and accuracy in task execution
- Basic troubleshooting skills within defined processes
- Clear communication skills in team setting
- Basic computer skills for data entry and production documentation
- Comfort working in a cleanroom environment and following safety protocols
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of sitting (4+ hours)
- Prolonged periods of standing or walking (4+ hours)
- Use hands to finger, handling/grasping objects, tools, or controls
- Reach with hands and arms; atop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Stooping / Bending
- Talking / Hearing; clear verbal communication and ability to hear instructions or warnings
- Seeing; visual acuity for reading, inspecting or operating machinery
- Repetitive motions; typing or assembly work
- Working conditions; exposure to weather, noise, dust, chemicals or confined spaces
- PPE: use of safety glasses, face shield, gloves, protective clothing, hearing and/or respiratory protection
