About the role
The role involves assembling and testing various avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, handling and installing PCBAs, supporting preventative maintenance activities, identifying equipment requirements, and maintaining floor stock inventory. The primary focus is on ensuring safety requirements are met and executing test procedures for component and system level testing.
Responsibilities
- Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
- Assemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, handle and install PCBAs
- Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
- Identify equipment requirements, process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory
- Execute test procedures for component and system level testing
- Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc)
Requirements
- Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines
- The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $33.50/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment, or relevant trade school certification
- 1+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (i.e., Calipers, multi-meters, torque wrenches)
- 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that adequately validate the system
- Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings
