About the role
The Manufacturing Technician I at PCI works in a dynamic environment, supporting biopharma and medical device companies. This role involves performing a variety of tasks under supervision, adhering to GMP/ISO standards, and maintaining a sterile environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and adhere to safe work habits and PCI safety procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of aseptic techniques.
- Prepare solutions, perform aseptic filling, and label vials under sterile and non-sterile conditions.
- Operate and assist in the assembly, disassembly, and operation of aseptic filling and lyophilization equipment.
- Prepare equipment and components for sterilization and lyophilization.
- Operate various processing equipment and perform production documentation.
- Complete COP, CIP, and SIP operations to prepare equipment for manufacturing.
- Review and revise SOPs and production batch records as necessary.
- Adhere to verbal and written instructions, and participate in investigations of deviations from normal operation.
- Perform duties with a focus on quality and adherence to PCI's values and behaviors.
Requirements
- 0 – 2 years of working experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to weigh and measure raw materials and operate basic benchtop instruments.
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written instructions and seek help with more complex tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to PCI's ethical standards and pursuit of excellence in product and service delivery.

Qualifications
