Responsibilities

  • Devise, fabricate, install, test, and repair mechanical equipment and systems involving the movement of physical components in the manufacturing area.
  • Install, repair, and upgrade components of mechanical devices and systems used in manufacturing processes.
  • Fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components for machinery and production equipment.
  • Support engineers in developing and implementing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of manufacturing devices and systems.
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control tests and procedures to verify equipment functionality and process performance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues within manufacturing equipment and recommend corrective actions.
  • Follow established procedures, documentation requirements, and safety practices within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Absorb and document work performed, test results, and equipment changes in accordance with quality system requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 0 Years of Experience Required
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and experience working with mechanical systems or manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with engineering and production teams.
  • Associate degree or technical certification in manufacturing technology, mechanical technology, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, aerospace, or similar).
  • Familiarity with mechanical assembly, fabrication tools, or laser-based manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience performing equipment troubleshooting, testing, or validation activities.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $44,000.00 - $66,000.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others). The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
