Manufacturing Technician - Bottling Team

About the role
We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our team in our Nutrilite Spaulding facility to support production of Nutrilite’s supplement bottles in the Bottle Packaging department. The shift for this role will be Monday – Wednesday nights, from 6:30 pm – 7:00 am.
In this versatile role, you will have the opportunity to learn all functional areas within NSP’s Bottle Packaging department—from supplying components, operating the highly automated packaging lines, to inline QA testing, and cleaning and sanitizing equipment. You will assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training materials, and schedules. Since this is a GMP-regulated plant, it will be important to complete and maintain all required records and documentation. Over time, you will train other team members on proper standards and operating procedures and provide peer reviews and feedback.

Note: This plant manufactures products containing food allergens including but not limited to milk, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat/gluten, fish, shellfish, and egg.
Responsibilities
- Operate highly automated packaging lines in the Bottle Packaging department
- Perform inline QA testing and clean/sanitize equipment
- Supply components and assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training materials, and schedules
- Maintain all required records and documentation in a GMP-regulated environment
- Train team members on proper standards and operating procedures
- Provide peer reviews and feedback to team members
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment (for Technician I level)
Requirements
Associate Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Capable of lifting 0–50 lbs
- Proficient in reading, speaking, and writing English to understand instructions, SOPs, and safety warnings
- Ability to read, interpret, and verbally communicate GMP & FDA documentation and regulations
Manufacturing Technician Requirements:
- All Associate Technician requirements, plus:
- Prior experience with manufacturing food products, troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment, or working in a cGMP environment

Physical Requirements
- Frequent bending and continuous twisting for equipment operation, order picking, and material handling
- Frequent computer operation (e.g., typing, reading monitor) for up to 6 hours
- Frequent gripping for up to 6 hours (e.g., operating tools, equipment controls, handling product)
- Continuous lifting and carrying of 50-pound packed boxes and equipment
- Continuous standing and walking for up to 8 hours
- Continuous use of upper body (arms, wrists, hands) for up to 12 hours
- Frequent climbing on and off equipment using ladders
Pay
- Associate Technician: $20.27/hour plus $1.75 shift differential for off-shift work
- Technician I: $21.88/hour plus $1.75 shift differential for off-shift work
Schedule
Monday – Wednesday nights, 6:30 pm – 7:00 am
About the Facility
The Nutrilite Spaulding Plant (NSP) manufactures soft gel products and produces powder and supplement pack sachets for Amway’s Nutrilite Brand. This is a food-safe facility with high standards for cleanliness and sanitation.
