Manufacturing Technician

Essential Responsibilities

• Aid the Manufacturing Engineering Department in various development and production support tasks.
• Provide feedback on design, quality, and assembly processes to the team.
• Maintain open and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the Maintenance Department with troubleshooting and repairs of assembly equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and assist in building, fabricating, and repairing production tools and equipment.
• Detect and report faulty operations, defective materials, and unusual situations to supervisors.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment to diagnose and repair machinery and systems.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and sketches to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Operate forklifts, powered vehicles, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in project meetings.
• Submit requisitions for materials and tools to the Manufacturing Manager.
• Comply with ISO 9001 standards and follow safety guidelines.
• Report unsafe activities and conditions to supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications

• Machining, welding, pneumatic circuits, and fabrication skills required.
• Experience using measuring tools and basic knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring low-voltage circuits.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Skilled at multitasking and managing multiple projects.

Education/Training

• Four-year minimum experience in equipment repair/maintenance/fabrication or two years vocational/trade/technical training.

Physical and Mental Demands

• Well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned indoor office/production setting with adequate ventilation.
• Moderate noise levels (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic).
