Manufacturing Technician/Assembler - 2nd Shift

About the Role

The Manufacturing Tech/Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, fitting, and disassembling components such as turbines, valves, gears, generators, pumps, and compressors. They interpret work instructions and blueprints, set up work areas and machines, and perform operations like assembly, balancing, and riveting, ensuring precision within specified tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow detailed instructions and drawings.
• Prepare workstations and operate related equipment for assembly and testing.
• Monitor dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards, notifying inspectors when needed.
• Set up and operate equipment for steam and hydrostatic pressure testing.

Requirements

• US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearances.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with blueprint reading, precision measurement tools, and operating various machinery and hand tools.
• Physical ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds and work with tools and equipment safely.
• Effective communication and attention to quality and efficiency.
