Manufacturing Technician - 2nd Shift
About the role
Tris Pharma, Inc. is a leading privately-owned biopharmaceutical company in the U.S. focused on development and commercialization of innovative medicines in ADHD, spectrum disorders, anxiety, pain and addiction. The company holds over 150 US and international patents, markets several branded ADHD products in the U.S., and licenses products domestically and internationally. Located in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey, Tris has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Technician on 2nd shift (M‑F 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM).
Responsibilities
- Supports and assists in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products according to SOPs, cGMPs, FDA standards and batch record specifications
- Performs day‑to‑day production activities as assigned, including weighing, blending, filling, compression, coating and/or granulation, etc.
- Assists in set up, change over and test runs of equipment for various sized batches and various products, as needed
- Collaborates with other production staff and departments
- Accurately and consistently completes and documents batch records and other required paperwork
- Precisely follows work orders and specifications
- Adheres to all plant safety policies and procedures
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Manufacturing Tech I – High school diploma or equivalent and minimum 1 year work experience
- Manufacturing Tech II – High school diploma or equivalent and minimum 3 years work experience
- Sr Manufacturing Tech – High school diploma or equivalent and minimum 5 years work experience – Solid Dosage experience required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret safety and environmental policies, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, etc.
- Basic PC skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, matrixed team environment
- Analytical thinking with problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Planning, organization and time management skills, including ability to support and prioritize multiple projects
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to identify and distinguish colors
- Ability and willingness to work additional hours as required by business needs
- Working knowledge of manufacturing procedures and federal regulations pertaining to manufacturing processes
- Working knowledge of good manufacturing systems and familiarity with regulatory and manufacturing SOPs and cGMPs
- Associates degree or some college coursework (preferred)

Pay
- Manufacturing Technician I – Anticipated pay rate: $23‑25/hour
- Manufacturing Technician II – Anticipated pay rate: $26‑30/hour
- Senior Manufacturing Technician – Anticipated pay rate: $32‑34/hour
Pay rate offered is contingent on assessment of candidate’s education and experience level relative to position requirements and a review of related industry standards and internal equity.
