Our Mesa, Arizona location produces automatic medium caliber gun systems for U.S. and international militaries, used in all major conflicts since World War II across ground vehicles, helicopters, airplanes, and naval ships. This role is essential to projects that connect and defend millions of people worldwide.
About the role
As a Manufacturing Technician 2 or 3, you will perform assembly operations of gun systems in a team or individual environment. The position requires eligibility to work second shift (3:00 P.M. - 1:30 A.M., Monday through Thursday) and may include overtime and some weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing assembly of subassemblies and top-level assemblies for gun systems.
- Conduct teardown, evaluation, and reassembly of remanufactured products.
- Follow detailed operating procedures and collect/record data as necessary.
- Interpret blueprints and follow detailed work instructions.
- Maintain high attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry 40 lbs.
- As a responsible party to ATF, obtain coverage under the Safe Explosive Act as an employee possessor/responsible person upon starting.
- Able to work a 4/10 schedule (Mon-Thurs, 3:00 P.M. – 1:30 A.M.), with overtime and some weekends if needed.
Qualifications
Level 2
- 2 years of experience working on manufacturing assemblies.
- Mechanical aptitude preferred.
Level 3
- 4 years of experience working on manufacturing assemblies.
- Mechanical aptitude preferred.
Pay
Primary Level (Technician 2) Salary Range: $44,000.00 - $74,000.00
Secondary Level (Technician 3) Salary Range: $52,700.00 - $87,900.00
Base salary offers consider scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Eligible employees may receive overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. Vice Presidents and Directors may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
