Responsibilities
- Read project drawings, specifications, work orders, and procedures
- Position, align, and set-up components according to specifications
- Identify faulty components and/or test and inspect welded surfaces for quality
- Safely operate orbital welding equipment
- Perform standard welding procedures
- Complete production paperwork and recordkeeping
- Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area (5S)
- Willing to work overtime as required
- Effectively interface with team members for component and equipment resources
Requirements
- Good vision and dexterity
- Able to sit throughout the day for extended periods of time
- Able to follow protocols and direction thoroughly and repetitively
- High School degree preferred
- 1-2 years' experience in a production, assembly, or manufacturing environment
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
