About the Role
This position develops the competencies necessary to perform assembly and inspection operations and processes. The incumbent seeks out and readily accepts opportunities for cross-training, follows written procedures to meet production and quality requirements, and works under moderate supervision with clearly defined duties.
Responsibilities
- Adheres to Integer Core Beliefs, Behavioral Based Safety process, and Integer Associate Quality Policy.
- Sets up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI’s) and Quality Work Instructions (QWI’s).
- Understands own tasks and how they relate to others in their team.
- Follows Standard Work where applicable and understands overall production flow within the department.
- Assembles component parts as per print, utilizing both manual and automatic machine operation.
- Visually and/or dimensionally inspects parts and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications.
- Identifies and escalates quality non-conformances.
- Completes required Device History Records and other manufacturing documentation per Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- May package assemblies for shipping.
- Participates in team activities focusing on process/product improvement, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Actively participates in “flex break” programs as required.
- Expands skill base through on-the-job training, cross-training, and classroom instruction.
- Performs other functions as required.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum Experience: 0-1 years light assembly experience or in a regulated industry required; medical device experience preferred.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow detailed instructions.
- Must possess the ability to recognize defects in workmanship.
- Demonstrate competency in assembly processes.
Pay
$19.55 per hour ($17.00 base plus 15% shift differential) plus a $2000 sign-on bonus.
Schedule
10:35 PM – 6:35 AM, Sunday–Thursday.
