Responsibilities

  • Utilize analytical capabilities and communications skills to lead rapid resolution of supplier-caused issues impacting the factory, working with other quality functions and cross-functional teams.
  • Represent supplier assurance as the onsite interface to Raytheon factories supporting factory tier meetings, layered process assessments, and nonconforming material reviews.
  • Analyze supplied material non-conformance metrics and develop action plans to address top and systemic drivers.
  • Investigate issues with supplied material ensuring accuracy of defect documentation, robust root-cause analysis, and corrective solutions are fully implemented.
  • Assist with quarantine, containment, and screening of suspect defective supplied hardware.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Five (5) years of experience in related Quality, Operations, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools and processes.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management System.
  • Experience with hardware inspection techniques and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date; ability to obtain INTERIM clearance is required prior to the start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Experience in DoD product and process oversight including requirements, build, integration, test, and delivery.
  • High computer proficiency, including skills working with SAP/PRISM and Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Six Sigma, Lean, and/or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (CQE, CQM/OE, CSQE, CQA, CRE, etc.).

Pay

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
