About the role

As a 12hr Night Shift Manufacturing Supervisor, you will lead teams in the largest Unilever Personal Care factory in North America. You will develop and deliver through teams, champion Factory Operating System practices, uphold safety as a core value, and ensure compliance with quality standards. You will drive productivity and business targets through manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Unilever safety systems and culture on the factory floor, ensuring compliance with regulatory, plant safety rules, and programs such as LOTO and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards through training and education, evaluating risks and providing support for quality concerns.
  • Provide guidance in root cause analysis for quality and safety incidents, establishing countermeasures to prevent recurrence.
  • Drive productivity through execution of factory operating systems, directing resources based on business priorities.
  • Set and deliver business targets, including operational reliability, PM & AM compliance, and operational waste reduction.
  • Guide teams during equipment breakdowns, documenting details and assigning resources for resolution.
  • Develop and deliver plans for medium- and long-term business targets.
  • Track performance indicators such as operational efficiency, changeover losses, and cost, escalating and directing resources as needed.
  • Build team capabilities through hiring, training, and communication.
  • Provide consistent and timely feedback to teams, ensuring performance and attendance standards are met.
  • Create and implement development plans for employees to address performance gaps through regular reviews.
  • Foster a culture of positive employee relations, building capability and addressing gaps.
  • Lead the execution of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles and participate in focused improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 1-3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to articulate and analyze complex operational details.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to provide clear, consistent, and actionable feedback.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $71,400 to $107,200. Unilever considers a wide range of factors in compensation decisions, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, qualifications, education, and business needs.

This position is bonus eligible and Long-Term Incentive (LTI) eligible.
