About the role

Deceuninck North America is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor for the Monroe, Ohio facility. The role is available for night shifts, 12 hours per shift, following a 2-2-3 schedule (7:45pm - 8:00am).

Responsibilities

  • Drive accountability for operational, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
  • Provide direction, leadership and mentorship to employees in the management of their assigned areas to ensure that business objectives and satisfactory performance are met.
  • Afford assessments of competency and capabilities of direct reports, ensuring employee development.
  • Identify and participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Effectively participate in the process of employee selection, hiring and retention.
  • Establish and/or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Lead by example.
  • Owning safety culture for team. Manage safety investigations and related corrective actions. Participate on Safety Committee with meaningful contributions.

Requirements

  • A High School diploma or GED is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
  • Two to four years of frontline supervision experience are required.
  • Manufacturing Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with computer systems to enter and track data is required.
  • An understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma principles is preferred.
  • A proven ability to mentor and manage employees is required.
  • A demonstrated ability to work independently with a high sense of urgency is required.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
