Manufacturing Supervisor I

About the role

The Manufacturing Supervisor I oversees safe operations, ensures high levels of customer service, quality of product and services, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. They also drive engagement with the team through regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and development plans.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Create a safety-first culture, conduct safety gembas, and promote zero safety incidents.
• People: Delegate tasks effectively, train team members, and ensure timely approvals for time and attendance.
• Operational: Coordinate activities to meet production schedules and ensure smooth shift handovers.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and conduct routine checks.
• Performance: Manage cycle and change-over times, and seek continuous improvements.
• Development: Develop direct reports through appropriate training and challenging assignments.
• OpEx: Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in sciences or engineering (strongly preferred).
• Two years of manufacturing or related experience (supervisor experience preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other manufacturing systems (e.g., SAP).
• Familiarity with safety, quality systems, and cGMPs.
• Experience working in an aseptic production environment desirable.

$75,000 - $142,500 USD

Schedule
