Eaton’s Electrical Sector - ARS division is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor based onsite at our Fibrebond manufacturing campus in Minden, Louisiana. Fibrebond by Eaton designs and manufactures pre-integrated modular buildings and power enclosures that protect mission-critical equipment for data center, industrial, utility, and communications customers.

About the role

The Manufacturing Supervisor leads, facilitates, and coordinates production activities and resources to ensure the timely delivery of quality parts that meet or exceed customer expectations. This role establishes and maintains a positive employee relations environment by adhering to Fibrebond by Eaton’s Values, Ethics, and Philosophies, while clearly communicating expectations and holding employees accountable for performance.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively implements, promotes, and maintains a safe working environment through accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance, and rule enforcement.
  • Coordinates and leverages resources with other managers (maintenance, materials, scheduling, staffing, logistics, quality, and engineering) to resolve production problems, improve processes, and meet customer demands.
  • Drives the company’s vision and mission by reinforcing ethics, values, and quality policies, aligning the workforce with company goals.
  • Plans, initiates, leads, and assesses continuous improvement programs using Eaton Business System (EBS) processes and problem-solving tools (e.g., Eaton Lean System, 5S).
  • Promotes a quality culture by demonstrating customer focus, communicating feedback, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintains accurate inventory and production numbers, reduces work-in-progress (WIP) inventory, and identifies cost-saving opportunities.
  • Sets, communicates, and achieves department goals, using performance metrics to drive process improvements.
  • Engages and empowers employees through goal-setting, decision-making, innovation, and continuous learning, providing ongoing feedback and formal evaluations.
  • Motivates and coaches employees to maintain high productivity, satisfaction, and quality through rewards and recognition.
  • Addresses employee performance and behavioral issues with immediate feedback and accountability.
  • Promotes employee development through performance management, coaching, and required training.
  • Ensures direct reports are trained in environmental, health, and safety practices, correcting unsafe conditions.
  • Participates in Material Review Board, staffing, MFR, PCR, SIOP, and other work-related meetings.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum two (2) years of work experience in production, military, manufacturing, distribution, or a related environment.
  • Minimum one (1) year of leadership experience.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.
  • No relocation benefit offered; candidates must be within a 50-mile radius of Minden, Louisiana (Active-Duty Military Service members exempt from geographical limitation).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing team environment.
  • Working knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing, quality control techniques (5S, Six Sigma), and Quality Systems (e.g., QS 9000, ISO 14001, TS 16949).

  • Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality methods, and problem-solving techniques.

  • Proficiency in computer systems (Microsoft Office, Kronos, Oracle, Outlook).

Pay

The expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 – $143,000, with eligibility for a variable incentive program. Salary is based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.
