What You'll Do
- Lead and Develop Your Team
- Provide daily direction and support to production employees.
- Communicate company updates, safety information, and production goals.
- Coach employees and assist with performance development.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement.
- Partner with Human Resources on employee relations and corrective actions when necessary.
- Drive Production Success
- Review production schedules and communicate priorities to the team.
- Monitor workflow, productivity, and quality standards.
- Adjust staffing and resources to maximize efficiency.
- Help resolve manufacturing challenges and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in operational meetings and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Promote Safety and Compliance
- Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct and coordinate safety, quality, and productivity training.
- Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and material traceability requirements.
- Manage Equipment and Facilities
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs.
- Cookordinate repairs and maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements when needed.
- Analyze and Improve Operations
- Review production and operational data.
- Prepare reports on productivity, equipment performance, and staffing.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and overall performance.
- Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
- A strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production processes.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Additional technical, manufacturing, or leadership training.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with production reporting systems.
