What You'll Do

  • Lead and Develop Your Team
    • Provide daily direction and support to production employees.
    • Communicate company updates, safety information, and production goals.
    • Coach employees and assist with performance development.
    • Promote teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement.
    • Partner with Human Resources on employee relations and corrective actions when necessary.
  • Drive Production Success
    • Review production schedules and communicate priorities to the team.
    • Monitor workflow, productivity, and quality standards.
    • Adjust staffing and resources to maximize efficiency.
    • Help resolve manufacturing challenges and support continuous improvement efforts.
    • Participate in operational meetings and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Promote Safety and Compliance
    • Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
    • Conduct and coordinate safety, quality, and productivity training.
    • Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
    • Ensure compliance with quality standards and material traceability requirements.
  • Manage Equipment and Facilities
    • Oversee preventive maintenance programs.
    • Cookordinate repairs and maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
    • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements when needed.
  • Analyze and Improve Operations
    • Review production and operational data.
    • Prepare reports on productivity, equipment performance, and staffing.
    • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and overall performance.

    Requirements

    • Required Qualifications
      • A High School Diploma or GED.
      • A minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
      • A strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production processes.
    • Preferred Qualifications
      • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
      • Additional technical, manufacturing, or leadership training.

    Skills and Abilities

    • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Basic computer proficiency and experience with production reporting systems.
