Manufacturing Services Technician
Working Pattern: Onsite – 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) in Cypress, CA. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
About the Role
As a Manufacturing Services Technician at Rolls-Royce, you’ll perform routine, reactive, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasks across a broad range of manufacturing assets and production equipment. Your work will ensure that manufacturing equipment is safe, available, and capable of use when required. Responsibilities
- Utilize precision diagnostic instruments during maintenance and analyze equipment data to implement effective maintenance approaches.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to support key performance indicators for the manufacturing services department.
- Read and interpret machinery and component drawings, circuit/logic diagrams, schematics, maintenance manuals, and parts catalogues for maintenance and diagnostics.
- Identify and recommend improvements to production equipment and maintenance procedures.
- Suggest improvements to work instructions to optimize electrical installation and maintenance strategies.
- Coordinate activities with production staff, communicating regularly with production leaders, team leaders, and operators.
- Work alongside and support equipment OEM engineers to ensure equipment and facilities are safe and reliable.
- Support the induction of new team members and cross-training of other team members.
- Apply problem-solving skills to make sound recommendations based on judgment, training, and experience.
- Process work orders and pull reports from the computerized maintenance management system.
- Safely operate site-specific equipment with appropriate training.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, equivalent, or GED (General Educational Development).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Experience working with industrial vacuum systems.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Mental & Physical Requirements
- Ability to handle physical demands, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly (team assistance available for heavier loads).
Pay
$25.92 - $38.88 hourly.
