Manufacturing Quality Inspector – Blueprint Reading, Precision Measurement & Inspection

About the role

Manufacturing Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring products meet quality standards through blueprint reading, precision measurement, and inspection.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure compliance with product specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments to accurately measure parts and components.
• Inspect products for defects and non-conformities according to established procedures.
• Document findings and communicate issues to relevant departments.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing quality control or related field.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC).
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.

Pay

• $18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule
