Manufacturing Quality Engineer
About the role
Schneider Electric is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join their team in El Paso, TX. This position will implement Lean and Six Sigma concepts, develop PFMEAs, monitor key metrics, and lead continuous improvement activities.
Responsibilities
- Implement and sustain Lean and Six Sigma concepts, collaborating with cross-functional teams and other functional departments.
- Develop manufacturing PFMEAs, Control Plans, and identify opportunities for improving tooling and processes.
- Stay updated on the latest methods and technologies, and assess their relevance within our manufacturing and assembly operations.
- Maintain and report key metrics, and devise improvement plans.
- Participate in and lead continual improvement activities such as 5S, SPS, Six Sigma, and ISO to enhance the quality system.
- Ensure timely completion of action items from SPS and ISO audits.
- Establish, implement, and maintain quality management systems.
- Contribute to and lead Digital Quality implementation within the plant.
- Prepare Pareto charts and 8D reports as necessary.
- Contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction and achieving quality goals through project and process implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools, 5S, 8D, Kaizen events, Six Sigma tools, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, Process Auditing, Process Capability analysis, ISO, and Poka Yoke design.
- Strong background in Quality, Industrial, and/or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proficient in Lean and Six Sigma techniques, as well as statistical methods.
- Highly desired mechanical aptitude.
- Able to lead and collaborate with others.
Skills and Capabilities

Pay
The expected pay range for this position is USD 86,400 - USD 115,600 per year.
