Manufacturing Quality Control Technician (Plastics & Packaging)

About the role

The Manufacturing Quality Control Technician (Plastics & Packaging) is responsible for inspecting products for defects and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This position works in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for defects using various inspection tools and techniques.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
• Document findings and report any non-conformities to supervisors.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in quality control or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Basic understanding of plastics and packaging manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Skills

• Proficiency with quality control software.
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and management.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
