Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

In this dynamic role, you will inspect customer parts, components, and assemblies throughout the manufacturing facility, ensuring they meet customer specifications and design prints.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of daily domestic and international shipments as specified by customer packaging requirements
• Document all found NCP (Non-Conforming Products)
• Perform minor rework and/or repair of damaged or NCP products and/or assemblies
• Adhere to all applicable OSHA, Pomp's, and facility standards/rules/regulations
• Sort and place racks/skids into the proper holding area(s)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by manager

Requirements

• Proven ability to readily recognize detailed accuracy of parts, components, or assemblies
• Ability to read customer drawings and/or prints
• Clear and effective oral and written communication skills
• Reading comprehension to follow work instructions and/or written/spoken instructions
• Safe, efficient forklift operations after successful completion of Pomp's Forklift Training
• Previous warehouse shipping operations experience (helpful)
• Ability to work overtime as required due to business demands
• Ability to bend, stretch, lift, and reach repeatedly during work shift
• Ability to maintain a balanced mix of physical labor and forklift operation (approximately 50% of each)
• Ability to lift, carry, or move 50 pounds regularly
