Manufacturing QA Supervisor

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in similar supervisory role.
• Previous experience in the dairy industry preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) & Teams.

Responsibilities

• Supports the plant operations department in the area of Quality and Food Safety.
• Key contact for food safety regulatory authorities and auditing firms.
• Ensures that established procedures, verifications and validations are being followed for production quality, state and federal guidelines.
• Leads and supports internal and external audits.
• Maintains quality and food safety records.
• Performs records review and follow up on variances.
• Utilizes root cause analysis to resolve food safety and quality variances.
• Provides supervision of QA Staff in scheduling and daily activities.
• Provides back up where needed for QA Coordinator and Laboratory.
• Trains and instructs employees in quality and food safety standards and processes.
