Manufacturing Project Manager

Seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager for a high-growth industrial manufacturing client in the Florham Park, NJ area.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of capital projects: scoping, budgeting, charters, scheduling, execution, and commissioning.
• Assess aging assets using ROI models to lead the procurement, installation, and integration of new machinery and automation.
• Coordinate utility upgrades and structural expansions; collaborate with contractors to optimize plant layouts and material flow.
• Plan and execute plant shutdowns and overhauls with zero-unplanned-downtime scheduling and contingency planning.
• Source and manage external vendors, ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality standards, and building codes.
• Leverage Lean/Six Sigma to boost equipment throughput, increase reliability, and minimize process waste.
• Proactively mitigate project risks and lead rapid-response strategies during critical facility emergencies.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role
• Bachelor’s degree (required)
