About the Role
The Manufacturing Process / Quality Specialist owns and continuously improves manufacturing processes, quality systems, and production standards to ensure the Manufacturing Division delivers high-quality products, on-time shipments, operational efficiency, and profitability. This role drives consistency, defect prevention, lean manufacturing initiatives, and compliance with customer and company standards.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain quality standards and inspection processes.
- Monitor internal and external quality metrics.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Manage customer quality concerns and warranty issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical, safety, and industry standards.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes for efficiency and waste reduction.
- Lead Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive process consistency across product lines.
What You Bring (Required Experience)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or quality management.
- Experience in electrical assembly, panel fabrication, controls manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, CAPA, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
