Manufacturing (Process) Engineer-Aurora
Responsibilities
. We have "Qualifications" section with bullet list of qualifications. So we can put underQualifications
. We have "Additional Ways To Stand Out" which could be "Skills" maybe. Or we could treat as "Skills". We'll put underSkills
. We have Pay: "The expected annual salary range for this role is $75,000 - $114,000 a year depending on experience. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program." So we can put underPay
. We have no explicit Benefits section besides maybe variable incentive program? Not benefits like health etc. There's no explicit benefits. So we should not create Benefits section unless posting actually states them. It does not mention benefits like health insurance, retirement, etc. So omit Benefits. Schedule: Not mentioned. So omit Schedule. We also have "Physical Requirements And Work Environment" and "Additional Information" etc. Those are not in the list; we could either drop them or incorporate into other sections? The instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." We could include them under maybe "Requirements"? But we have Qualifications already. Physical requirements could be part of "Requirements". However we have a separate "Requirements" heading in the list. We could put physical requirements underRequirements
. Also "Additional Ways To Stand Out" could be under Skills. We also have "Additional Information" about EEO etc which is boilerplate to remove. So drop. We need to preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep the details from physical requirements etc if we include them under Requirements. Thus sections: - Responsibilities (from Job Description bullet list) - Requirements (maybe combine Qualifications and Physical Requirements? But Qualifications is separate heading. We could have both Qualifications and Requirements sections. The instruction allows multiple sections. We'll keep Qualifications separate for education/skills, and Requirements for physical/work environment. - Skills (Additional Ways To Stand Out) - Pay (salary range and variable incentive) We also might include "About the role" maybe from Company Description? Could put company description under About the role. But we already have Responsibilities etc. The instruction says use h3 for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings, but suggests those as examples. We could also include "About the role" heading with company description. However the company description is not about the role but about company. Might be okay to put under About the role. But we need to avoid filler. It's substantive. Thus we could have sections: About the role (company description), Responsibilities, Qualifications, Requirements (physical), Skills, Pay. Check for duplication: Ensure we don't repeat same content. Let's extract content precisely. Company Description paragraph: "Since its spin-off in September 2025 AUMOVIO continues the business of the former Continental group sector Automotive as an independent company. The technology and electronics company offers a wide-ranging portfolio that makes mobility safe, exciting, connected, and autonomous. This includes sensor solutions, displays, braking and comfort systems as well as comprehensive expertise in software, architecture platforms, and assistance systems for software-defined vehicles. In the fiscal year 2024 the business areas, which now belong to AUMOVIO, generated sales of 19.6 billion Euro. The company is headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany and has about 87.000 employees in more than 100 locations worldwide." We'll keep that. Job Description responsibilities bullet list (the paragraph after "As an Manufacturing Engineer, you will be at the heart..." then list of duties). Let's capture: - Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure optimal production efficiency and product quality - Design and oversee the implementation of automation systems and equipment to improve manufacturing operations - Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address production issues and defects - Create and maintain process documentation, including setup matrices, parameter cards, and work instructions - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and design for manufacturability (DFM) initiatives - Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase productivity - Provide technical support and training to production staff on new processes, equipment, and technologies - Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all manufacturing processes - Participate in equipment selection, installation, and qualification processes - Troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing equipment and process issues Also earlier sentences: "As an Manufacturing Engineer, you will be at the heart of our electronics manufacturing process for the new Aurora innovation, ensuring precision and quality in the production of components for autonomous driving systems. You’ll work with cutting-edge technology, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with a team dedicated to innovation and excellence." Could be part of responsibilities too. We'll include as prose maybe before list. Qualifications bullet list: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering - Exposure to a manufacturing environment - Knowledge of automation equipment, including scanners, vision systems, and automated placement equipment - Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks - Ability to read schematics and/or engineering drawings. - Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis techniques - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and manufacturing-related software applications - Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) - Experience in process documentation and creating standard work instructions - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional projects - Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail - Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment - Able to work outside of traditional work hours. - Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. - We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting. - Relocation assistance is not offered for this position. Physical Requirements And Work Environment bullet list: - Ability to work on a manufacturing shopfloor environment - Must wear company-provided ESD safety-toed shoes, smock, and other PPE in required areas - Sitting or standing for 8+ hours, reaching, and using hands/fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment - Must be able to push, pull, reach, twist, turn, stoop for duration of 8+ hour shifts - Ability to lift or carry objects up to 40 lbs. unassisted - Ability to climb ladders - Ability to bend at waist and perform repetitive foot and hand action - Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments. Additional Ways To Stand Out bullet list: - 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field - Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation technologies, PLC programming and continuous improvement methodologies - Demonstrated ability in electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting - Experience with a wide range of hand tools and mechanical assembly. - Project management and documentation experience Pay: "The expected annual salary range for this role is $75,000 - $114,000 a year depending on experience. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program." Now we need to output HTML fragment with h3 headings and appropriate ul/li for lists, p for prose. We must not include any markdown code fences. We'll produce something like:About the role
