About the role

The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for operating machinery, assembling products, monitoring production processes, and ensuring quality standards are met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment according to safety and quality standards.
• Perform routine inspections and minor troubleshooting of machines.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules to assemble, package, or inspect products.
• Monitor product quality throughout production and report defects or equipment malfunctions.
• Adhere to company safety procedures, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean workspace to prevent hazards.
• Accurately record production data, downtime, and material usage.
• Communicate issues and improvement suggestions to the team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or machine operation preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Comfortable working in a cold/wet environment and able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
