Manufacturing Plant Manager

About the role

The Plant Manager oversees all aspects of production, sanitation, food safety, FDA compliance, maintenance, shipping, and human resources in Krispy Kreme doughnut factories. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring profitability, and maintaining customer and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all areas of the doughnut factory
• Adequately staff positions
• Ensure operations comply with Krispy Kreme standards
• Maintain employee safety and ensure correct job performance
• Schedule tasks for absent employees
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• College degree preferred in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food or packaging
• Knowledgeable in Food Safety and FDA compliance requirements
• Experience with sales, management, production, employee safety, and customer service
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Self-motivated, creative, and adaptable
• Microsoft Office computer proficiency

Qualifications

• High school required, College degree a PLUS!
• Operations, Supply Chain Mgmt or Engineering degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, food or packaging experience preferred
• Knowledgeable in Food Safety and FDA compliance requirements
• Experience with sales, management, production, employee safety, and customer service
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Self-motivated, creative, and adaptable
• Microsoft Office computer proficiency
