Responsibilities
- Performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations (including machine operations) to mass-produce medical device products.
- Prepares for medical device assembly by placing parts in specified relationships.
- Assembles products according to approved standards and procedures.
- Operates machines of limited complexity to perform assembly processes on assembly lines.
- Moves between different workstations as needed.
- Works on the assembly line, adjusting to different models of the same article.
- Performs self-inspection on all assembly work.
- Conducts basic quality inspection of own or others' work.
- Maintains a clean and orderly workstation.
- Completes manufacturing documentation accurately.
- Communicates issues to supervisor, technician, or engineer.
- Participates in team-based activities.
- Completes basic production, health, safety, and environmental hazard training courses.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- No previous experience required.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to complete training courses.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to use and read measuring devices.
- Understanding and application of regulatory (QSR, ISO) requirements.
