Responsibilities

  • Performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations (including machine operations) to mass-produce medical device products.
  • Prepares for medical device assembly by placing parts in specified relationships.
  • Assembles products according to approved standards and procedures.
  • Operates machines of limited complexity to perform assembly processes on assembly lines.
  • Moves between different workstations as needed.
  • Works on the assembly line, adjusting to different models of the same article.
  • Performs self-inspection on all assembly work.
  • Conducts basic quality inspection of own or others' work.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly workstation.
  • Completes manufacturing documentation accurately.
  • Communicates issues to supervisor, technician, or engineer.
  • Participates in team-based activities.
  • Completes basic production, health, safety, and environmental hazard training courses.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • No previous experience required.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to complete training courses.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to use and read measuring devices.
  • Understanding and application of regulatory (QSR, ISO) requirements.
